MCSO Makes Arrest in Greenville Drive By Shooting

Major David Harper of the Madison County Sheriff’s Office announces the arrest of Ronterious Rashad Arnold (19) and Cedrick Terrell Brown (23), both of Greenville, for the shooting incident that occurred on Sunday, February 12, 2017 on Church Avenue and Obadiah Street in Greenville, Florida. The shooting left five individuals suffering from gunshot wounds that ranged from non-life threatening to critical in nature. Investigators from the Madison County Sheriff’s Office and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement have aggressively worked this case daily.  These Investigators have received very little assistance or cooperation from the witnesses to include some of the victims but through determination and relentless effort were able to develop probable cause and obtain arrest warrants for Arnold and Brown.

On Tuesday, March 21, 2017, members of the Madison County Sheriff’s Office S.E.R.T. team assisted by the members of the United States Marshals Service Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force responded to two separate residences in Greenville, Florida simultaneously to serve the arrest warrants on Arnold and Brown. During the arrest of Arnold, deputies observed Marijuana, Cannabinoid (Spice) and packaging materials commonly used for illegal drug distribution in plain view resulting in the additional arrest of Tikeosha Qashe Arnold and Roosevelt Arnold Jr. All suspects were taken into custody without further incident and transported to the Madison County Jail. The investigation into this case is on-going to identify others that may have had involvement in the shooting incident.

Major Harper and Sheriff Stewart commends the Investigators of the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, Madison County Sheriff’s Office S.E.R.T. Team Operators,  Agents with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the United States Marshals Service Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force for their hard work and dedication to the citizens of Madison County.  Anyone with information regarding the shooting is asked to call the Madison County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigative Division at (850) 973-4152.
