On Saturday, January 9, 2016 at approximately 5:32 PM Madison 911 Center received a report of a structure fire at 553 NE Country Kitchen Road just east of the City of Madison.  Responding units found a doublewide mobile home with smoke coming from the eaves around the roof and out of some of the windows.  No one was home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported.  Madison Fire/Rescue as supported by New Home Fire/Rescue, Madison County Emergency Medical Services and the Madison County Sheriff's Office.  Passers by had seen the smoke and called 911 and waited at the scene for help to arrive.  Their concern was that someone might be in the structure but smoke and heat prevented them from entering.  The Red Cross was called to assist the family and the State Fire Marshall was called to do the investigation.
