FIRE DESTROYS SHED ON TOLA MCKINNEY STREET

At approximately 4:20 PM on Friday, May 13, 2016 Madison 911 Center received a report of a brush fire in the Georgetown area of Madison.  A few seconds later additional information determined that is was a structure fire that was also burning the tinder dry grasses near by.  Responding units found a storage shed behind 176 Tola McKinney Street fully involved.  Madison Fire Rescue and the Division of Forestry responded to the blaze and contained the fire to the shed and grass within 100 feet.  Madison County Emergency Medical Services and law enforcement also assisted.  No injuries were reported.
