Honea Arrested for Possession and Urinating in Public

Madison County Sheriff Ben Stewart reports that on Friday, April 8, 2016, at 2:30 a.m. Deputy Martin Morris was dispatched to Jimmies Auto Port located at 6375 S State Road 53 in reference to a male subject urinating in public. Upon arrival, the clerk informed Deputy Morris that she observed a Toyota parked at the fuel pumps for approximately 45 minutes when a male stepped out and urinated by the driver side door. The male then got back in the Toyota and continued to sit parked at the fuel pumps

Deputy Morris located the subject asleep in a gray Toyota still parked at the fuel pumps. Deputy Morris woke the man up and identified him as David Honea. Honea was instructed to exit the car, and Deputy Morris noted that it appeared that Honea was possibly intoxicated. Deputy Morris conducted a consent search of the Toyota and discovered a small amount of marijuana laying in plain view on the front passenger seat. Honea was arrested without incident.
