It has been a tradition for the City of Madison Fire Department to have a Christmas dinner together but this year it was a little different.  On Friday, December 18, 2015 the Fire Department along with the Madison County Emergency Medical Services brought their dinners under one roof at the EMS building.  Bruce Jordan, City Fire Chief and his wife Lisa Jordan, EMS Director felt it appropriate to bring their staffs together for the Christmas season dinner because they work so closely together every season of the year.  Dispatchers arrived from the Sheriff's Dispatch Center and some volunteer firefighters also participated.  Plenty of fine food and good fellowship recognizing the support each department provides for the other.  It is hoped that this new tradition will involve more first responders from all public service organizations in years to come.
