NFCC begins advising for Summer Term 2015

April 6, 2015

MADISON, FL – With summer classes beginning May 11 at North Florida Community College, the NFCC Advising Department is ready to help current and prospective students find classes that will fit their schedule, interests and academic goals. The advising period kicks off Monday, April 6 for Summer Term 2015. Current NFCC students can register for classes as early as April 20. Open registration starts April 27. A complete schedule of classes is available on the NFCC website at www.nfcc.edu/admissions--records/catalog--schedule.

According to NFCC’s Advising Department, it’s important for all new and current students to meet with an advisor before registering for classes. Advising offers students a thorough review of completed academic coursework and academic progress; a review of completed, current, and future coursework relative to academic, transfer and career goals; notification of changes to course schedules, program requirements, transfer requirements, important dates and other information necessary to facilitate timely completion of academic goals; and provides discussion and guidance for academic achievement.

For more information on academic advising at NFCC or upcoming summer classes, visit http://www.nfcc.edu/admissions--records/advising or call (850) 973-9455.
