Obituary: Myrtle B. Regan

March 9, 2015

Myrtle B. Regan, 88, of Madison, FL, passed away March 8, 2015, at her home surrounded by her family in Cherry Lake. Myrtle was born October 27, 1926 in Caswell, GA, to Jasper Henry Brandon and Nannie Brandon (Williams). 

Mrs. Regan was of the Methodist Faith and was a member of Cherry Lake Methodist Church in Madison. Myrtle and her husband, Joe, managed a textile mill in Rockingham NC. 

Mrs. Regan is survived by her loving daughter, Jean Regan DeWitt(Philip) of Cherry Lake, FL; one grandson, Joe DeWitt of Cherry Lake, FL, and two great-grandchildren, Timothy Joseph DeWitt and Lisa DeWitt both of Cherry Lake, FL. 

Mrs. Regan was preceded in death by her husband Joe Regan, a grandson Guy DeWitt and great-grandson Chad Lamar O'Quinn. 

Funeral Services will be held at Cherry Lake Methodist Church on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 11:00 am in Madison with Pastor Cherryl Register and Pastor John Peterson officiating. Interment will follow in Cherry Lake Methodist Cemetery in Madison. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Joe P. Burns Funeral Home of Madison, 323 SE Lakeshore Dr. All arrangements are under the care of Joe P. Burns Funeral Home.
