Felony traffic stop on Bentley Street

February 24, 2015

 

Madison County Sheriff Ben Stewart reports that on Friday the 20th day of February 2015 at 7:30 pm Drug Task Force investigators received information that fugitive Craig Lamar Solomon Jr was a back seat passenger in a vehicle that was currently driving around in the City of Madison. DTF investigators along with assistance from the Madison County Sheriff’s Office patrol division and officers from the Madison Police Department were able to locate the vehicle confirming that Solomon was in-fact inside the vehicle and conducted a felony traffic stop on Bentley Street. Solomon was arrested without incident. The driver identified as Ryshard Smith Thompson was also arrested after a concealed handgun was located under the driver seat of the vehicle.
