THREE VEHICLES CRASH IN DOWNTOWN MADISON


At approximately 12:15 AM on Saturday, January 2, 2016 Madison 911 Center received a report of a traffic crash in downtown Madison. First responders found three vehicles had crashed near the intersection of Base (Hwy 90) and Range Streets. Two vehicles had hit head-on and the third had a rear tire and suspension knocked off. All vehicles were disabled and had to be towed. Even though two of the vehicles had air bag deployment Madison County Emergency Medical Services had no one to transport after evaluating those involved. Madison Fire/Rescue and the Madison Police Department handled the scene and the roadway was cleared by 1:15 AM.
