Remembering the Unforgettable

Fourteen years ago today, September 11, 2001, our great country was viciously attacked by a cowardly group of individuals. Thousands of people lost their lives that dreadful day. Many where heroic First Responders running in to provide aid and relieve. Anyone old enough to remember that terrible day can tell you without hesitation where they were and what they were doing when they heard the news. The World did stop that day and all watched with horror and sorrow as husbands, wives, fathers, mothers, sons, daughters and friends had their lives taken away.

We stood strong together as Americans that day and for the many days and months that followed. We held hands, we hugged and we cried as we tried to understand WHY. Our tears quickly turned to anger as we learned about the people and the reason for such a terrible act. Some of these cowards have been brought to justice, but many more are still out their plotting each day to once again strike and cause mayhem and destruction.

As we pause and remember all those men, women and children who lost their lives that day, lets us also remember the heroes who have sacrificed their lives in the years that have followed and ones that are still out there today protecting us from a Godless people who seek only to destroy all who do not follow their beliefs.

May we always remember and never forget. God Bless the United States of America.
