Need to Renew Your Florida Teaching Certificate?

Take NFCC’s “Teaching Exceptional Children” Course Online

MADISON, FL – Florida teachers looking to renew their professional certification through the FLDOE this year are in luck. North Florida Community College’s “Teaching Exceptional Children” course (EEX 1010) is now being offered completely online and meets the Florida Educator Certification Renewal Requirements for applications received after July 1. Registration is currently open for the EEX 1010 course at NFCC; classes begin Aug. 24.

The new certification requirements include completion of six semester hours of college credit to include at least one semester hour in teaching students with disabilities that must be earned during each renewal period. NFCC’s EEX 1010 “Teaching Exceptional Children” course is three credit hours and meets the certification criteria.
