NFCC Practical Nursing program accepting applications for Fall Term 2015
Classes begin August 2015; Application period closes May 1
MADISON, FL – The deadline for potential students to apply to North Florida Community College’s Practical Nursing program for Fall Term 2015 is May 1, 2015. This is the time to apply for admission and take care of application, testing and program entrance requirements. Classes begin August 2015.
NFCC’s Practical Nursing program is a 1350 clock hour program that is designed to prepare students to function as members of the health team in the prevention of illness and in the care and rehabilitation of the sick and injured. Graduates are eligible to apply to the Florida State Board of Nursing to take the National Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses for licensure as an LPN in the state of Florida.
In order to be considered for admission into NFCC’s LPN program, individuals must have a high school diploma or GED and be at least 18-years-old. Students are required to have an associate degree or complete the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) prior to making application to enter the program. The TABE is given regularly at the NFCC campus and may be scheduled by calling (850) 973-9451.
