Obituary: Ronald Scott Westberry-Dixon

Ronald Scott Westberry-Dixon, 52, of Lee, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.

He is survived by his wife, Mantha Jane Westberry-Dixon; one step-son, Clinton Davis, of Bryceville, Fl.; one step-daughter, U.S. Navy 1st Class Petty Officer Misty Dawn Taylor, stationed in San Diego, California for 20 years; and one son, Raymond Dixon. His parents are Ralph and Josephine Dixon, of Lombard, Illinois.His mother and father-in-law are Mantha Jane Barber and William Henry Westberry. He had sisters and brother-in-laws that loved him: Charlotte and David Rogers, of Columbus, Georgia; Cindy and Roland Belanger, of Orange Park, Florida; Melissa Barber, of Orange Park, Florida; Mark and Susan Barber, of Jacksonville, Florida; Phyllis Dixon, of Wheaton, Illinois; Donna and Mike Longo, of Glen Ellyn, Illinois; and Greg Brown, of Lombard, Illinois. He was a loving Grandpa to three granddaughters: Hailey, Kailey and Riley Davis and two grandsons: Daniel and Lucas Taylor, and a lot of friends.

He was born in Elmhurst, Illinois on May 13, 1962. He worked for the Madison Correctional Institution in Madison and was a truck driver previously. He enjoyed karaoke, horseback riding, scuba diving, winter and summer skiing. He was excellent with computers.

He was a loving husband, grandpa, father, brother and son. He was always smiling and he loved his wife and told her “I love you muches, muches, muches,” and the last thing he said to her as he looked in her eyes was “I love you.” And she said “I love you too baby.”

Beggs Funeral Home in Madison, Florida is in charge of arrangements.
