Obituary: Marilyn Kinsey Bishop
Marilyn Kinsey Bishop, 76, died Friday, January 9, in Tallahassee. Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 14, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of T. J. Beggs, Jr. & Sons Funeral Home in Madison, with Rev. Gene Stokes officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Madison. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home.
She was born and raised in Madison and after graduating high school, she moved to New Orleans where she trained and graduated as a registered nurse from Charity Hospital. She lived all around the country then came back to Madison before moving to Monticello, where she lived most of her life. She was the R.N. for the Jefferson County Health Dept. for many years. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. She was a Christian and of the Baptist Faith.
She is survived by two sons: David Dunstan, of Monticello and Michael Dunstan (Andrea), of Starkville, Miss.; a brother, Ernest Kinsey, of Madison; a sister, Gwen Clark, of Port St. Lucie, Florida ; and two grandchildren: Jacob Dunstan and Katie Dunstan.
