DR. JOHNSON BIBB, M.D. RETIRES AFTER 52 YEARS OF SERVICE
On Sunday, November 23, 2014 the staff of Madison County Memorial Hospital and the citizens of Madison County gathered at 2:00 PM to say "thank you" to Dr. Johnson Bibb, M.D. for serving the medical needs of the community for the past 52 years. The reception was held in the lobby of the new hospital building and many people had to stand at the door because all available seating was taken. Dr. Royce Jackson, M.D. had recommeded Madison as a community for Dr. Bibb's practice after he got out of the Navy. The connection with the community has lasted over a half century. People from the medical community and just plain citizens took the opportunity to speak and share their special feelings for a man and family that has made a difference. This was a program of honor for a man and his family that have served in many ways to make Madison County a better place.
