NEW MADISON HOSPITAL RIBBON CUTTING
On Saturday, July 26, 2014 a crowd of approximately 200 Madison County citizens gathered at the site of their new hospital. In downtown Madison hospital staff and friends presented a program of dedication and ribbon cutting to open the way for patients to begin using this state-of-the-art medical facility on August 1, 2014.
Mr. Frank Ranicky of WCTV fame was Master of Ceremonies and did the introductions of those who spoke including Annette Johnson, Chair of the Hospital District Board of Directors; David Abercrombie, CEO of Madison County Memorial Hospital; Richard Machek of USDA Rural Development; Lynn Bannister of Senator Bill Nelson's Office and keynote speaker Representative Ted Yoho.
After the ceremony all attending had refreshments and toured the new hospital.
