Miller Arrested for Possession Stolen Property
Madison County Sheriff Ben Stewart reports that on Saturday the 19th day of July at approximately 6:30 PM, a deputy observed a subject driving a motorized scooter on the sidewalk of US 90 traveling in a westerly direction. The deputy stopped the subject and explained the purpose for the stop. The deputy smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from the subject’s person. The subject was identified as Anthony Miller Jr. of Madison, Fl. A pat down search of Miller revealed a plastic bag containing marijuana. The VIN number of the scooter was checked NCIC/FCIC and discovered it was reported stolen back on the 5th day of June 2014 and entering agency of Tallahassee Police Department. Miller stated that he figured the scooter was stolen when he purchased it and did not know the person’s name from whom he purchased it from for $200.00.
Miller was taken into custody without incident and charged as follows: Anthony Devirgil Miller Jr.,
B/M, DOB: 01/07/1995 of Madison, Fl.
