JMPHS Welcomes New Faculty and Staff

After a successful first year in which our students' FCAT performance earned us recognition as a high-performing school, we are excited to introduce our new faces for the upcoming year who will undoubtedly help us achieve this recognition in the many years to come. Demetrius Rice joins us as Principal & S.T.E.M. Coordinator. He designed and implemented a comprehensive engineering program at Godby High School in Tallahassee and taught math & S.T.E.M. courses at both Godby and Tallahassee Community College. Marcus Nicolas joins us as Policy & Curriculum Coordinator. He has taught English at both Godby High School and Tallahassee Community College and has extensive curriculum development experience in Leon County. We also welcome three new teachers, two guidance counselors, and an administrative assistant to the JMPHS family. They join our returning teachers Lauri Sellers (English, Art Appreciation) and Alan Androski (Math, Computers) and our custodian Reggie Davis.
