Madison Fire Rescue to hold Boot Drive

Madison Fire Rescue will hold a Boot Drive on Friday, April 4th from 3 PM – 5 PM to help raise funds as part of a community wide effort headed up by the Madison County Sheriff’s Office.

This boot drive is for raising funds to help with purchasing a headstone for the late Madison County Deputy Sheriff Marcus Jones. Deputy Jones died suddenly in September 2011, leaving behind three sons and a daughter.

Fire Rescue members will be stationed at the intersection of Base St and Range Ave.

All donations received will go toward the purchase of a headstone for Deputy Jones.
