Obituary for Robbie Nell Sevor Walker

Robbie Nell Sevor Walker was born on 12/31/1934 in Lee, Florida to John & Pauline Newsome Sevor. She grew up in Lee and later moved to Madison at the age of 16 and then to Pinetta where she lived for the last 60 years. She worked for J. B. Davis in Madison, Valdosta Cigar and Tobacco in Valdosta GA, and was co-owner and bookkeeper for Walker's Septic Tank. She was a member of Pinetta First Baptist... Church.

She was affectionately called Nell by many in the family and friends of her children and grandchildren. She loved to work in her garden and grew beautiful flowers and loved sharing them with others and her church family on Sundays. She was a wonderful and devoted mother to her children and caregiver to her husband.

She is survived by her children, Cindy & Pat Coody, David & Christine Walker, and Glen & Alisha Walker all of Pinetta. Sisters Lucille Dickson & Gwen Hayes of Jacksonville. Grandchildren Brett & Joe Walker, Daniel & Katie Walker, Jessica Roe, Wayne Letson. 2 Great Children Ember Walker and Jackson Roe. A special cousin Pete Newsome. Sister-in-laws Liz Haraz, Blanche Sevor, and Ruth Walker. Too many loving and devoted nieces and nephews to list. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Robert Walker, her infant son, parents John & Pauline Sevor and brother Glen Sevor.

Because of her love of flowers, they will be accepted. Donations can also be made to Pinetta First Baptist Church Kitchen Remodeling fund or Big Bend Hospice.

Her funeral and visitation will be held Friday, March 7, 2014. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.and funeral at 2:00 pm at Pinetta First Baptist Church.
